Tufte Principles

Edward Tufte emphasizes the importance of ink being data ink and removing all other ink and redundant ink. On my Data Story I project I could have followed these principles better by combined the second and third charts into one and only using one title for the two. The ink was ultimately redundant by having two charts with all the data, when I was really comparing the percentages in support and could have represented that with two lines instead of two pie charts. Furthermore, I should not have used multiple colors in the charts as they represent parts of the whole .
